Program of cooperation with OSCE/ODIHR was discussed at the RA Prosecutor General’s Office

The Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia, Davit Melkonyan, received the Delegation of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR). Earlier the RA Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan and the director of OSCE/ODIHR Ingibyorg Solrun Gisladottir met and the topic of the current meeting was cooperation issue.
The Head of the OSCE/ODIHR delegation Genadi Barba presented the program for 2018, pointing out that it can also support Prosecutor’s Office in the implementation of reformations connected with the constitutional reforms of Armenia.
Davit Melkonyan assured the RA Prosecutor’s Office willingness to take active part in human rights defence, in the OSCE/ODIHR initiatives directed to the exchange of best practice of European countries.
Other matters of mutual interest such as choosing measures of restraints, mechanisms and format of cooperation also became topic of discussion.
