The Prosecutor General represented the conceptual directions for the development of prosecutors’ legal education during the session of Academic Council of the YSU Faculty of Law

Today, Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Lecturer of the Chair of Criminal Law of the YSU Faculty of Law, Associate Professor, represented the conceptual directions for the development of prosecutors’ legal education during the session of the Academic Council of the Faculty.
The Prosecutor General emphasized the cooperation with the YSU Faculty of Law in this sector and referred to the possibility of revision of the master’s degree programs of that Faculty.
In her speech Anahit Manasyan, Deputy Prosecutor General, Associate Professor of the Chair of the Constitutional Law of the YSU among other questions, represented the concept, developed by the Prosecutor General’s Office related to the reforms of prosecutor’s education, as well as works directed at the improvement of “Legality” periodical, highlighting that both the requirements for the articles and the composition of the editorial board shall be changed: it is now composed of international eminent lawyers.
During the session of the academic council the perspective of signing an Agreement of Mutual Understanding between the Prosecutor’s Office and YSU Faculty of Law were discussed. They also discussed the possibility of organizing joint events during 2023 on the occasion of 105th anniversary of the Prosecutor’s Office.
