Meeting in the RA Prosecutor General's Office regarding the early parliamentary elections

Today the RA Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan held a meeting with the participation of Director of the RA National Security Service Armen Abazyan, Chief of the RA Police Vahe Ghazaryan, Deputy Head of the RA Special Investigation Service Vladimir Hovhannisyan, members of the working group established in the RA Prosecutor's Office on ensuring the legality of early parliamentary elections, preventing possible criminal violations in the elections.
The RA Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan, being also the head of the working group formed in the RA Prosecutor General's Office, in his speech noted the decisive importance of the upcoming elections for our country in the current situation, adding that the task of each law enforcement agency is to ensure the implementation of its competencies with maximum responsibility through operational cooperation.
The Prosecutor General clearly and in details noted the main goals toward which the joint efforts of law enforcement agencies should be directed.
In the fight against electoral violations, Artur Davtyan also stressed the need for law enforcement agencies to work with citizens interested in holding responsible, fair, free and transparent elections.
During the meeting were discussed publications on possible electoral crimes in the course of preparation and conduct of elections, possible working issues, methods of their regulation.
The RA Prosecutor General gave specific instructions aimed at ensuring effective cooperation of law enforcement agencies.
