Message from the RA Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia

September 22, 2021

Dear compatriots!

Today is the most precious and cherished day of our people - the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia. A day that embodies the centuries-old aspirations of our people to live freely, independently and have statehood in our historical environment.

With a deep awareness that independent statehood is the only formula for the survival of our nation, with a feeling of eternal and unshakable respect for the self-sacrifice of our holy martyrs, with daily hard work, we must heal our wounds, affirm our right and decisiveness to live, develop, survive on this land, there are no alternatives.

Throughout our thousand-year history, we have had to constantly overcome obstacles, solve the most difficult existential problems. They have further strengthened our vitality, our historical heritage and genetic memory, determination to preserve our identity and national identity, to realize our aspirations for freedom and independence, for a strong state.

I am confident that we will come out from the current obstacles stronger as a nation, wiser, thanks to the individual and gratuitous contribution of each of us, accepting the development and strengthening of the state and statehood as a realized national vision that determines our path to life.

I believe in our collective strength, and in order to achieve these seemingly impossible goals, we must make the impossible possible, first of all, consciously and cold-bloodedly making every effort to stabilize internal security. Intrastate coexistence, solidarity requires a clear awareness of our civic duty, prevention of abuse of rights, law-abiding behavior, faith and trust in state and national institutions.

So, congratulations on the 30th anniversary of our independence.

Glory and tribute to our holy martyrs, whose work requires us to live and build a strong country.
