My warm congratulations on the Day of Employees of National Security Service.

 

Having internal and external security challenges facing the Republic, the role of the National Security Service is emphasized more and more, both in the protection of constitutional order and the inviolability of its borders, sovereignty, in the security of our country from various threats. The employees of the National Security Service administer their mission with a sense of great responsibility, hard work, deep sense of devotion to their title, homeland, service, duty, based on professionalism and willingness to self-sacrifice.

 

The National Security Service is also Armenia's strong, credible bastion against various manifestations of international crime, from extremism, trafficking, drug trafficking and illegal trafficking of weapon. The principle and persistence that the service's staff exhibits in the fight against corruption, which itself is one of the most serious internal security challenges, is invaluable.

 

Being one of the most successful systems of our statehood, restrained and unique traditions allow us to overcome specific security issues around Armenia, sticking national and state-centered values.

 

Congratulating all the employees of the National Security Service on the occasion of their professional day, I wish first of all effective service in peace for the sake of our country. As a participant in the establishment, development and progress of our state, I wish your family well-being, happiness and success in our homeland, in order to feel compensated somehow for the dangerous and honorable service, which is not always understood properly, I wish you look to the bright future.
