The Prosecutor's Office has accepted into proceedings the regular claim for confiscation of property of illegal origin: the claim refers to Aram Danielyan, the former head of Hrazdan community

The Prosecutor's Office filed another claim to the Anti-Corruption Court on September 22, 2022 regarding the confiscation of property of illegal origin, which was accepted for proceedings according to the decision of September 23, 2022.
According to the mentioned claim, the Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia filed a claim against Aram Razmik Danielyan, the former head of the Hrazdan community of Kotayk Region, and two affiliates of the latter:
• 11 real estates in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, particularly, in Yerevan, in Kotayk and Gegharkunik Regions, 3 means of transport, and in case of impossibility, their minimum market values, which in total amounts more than 653 million 399 thousand AMD.
• shares in 2 Limited Liability companies,
• 156 million 615 thousand AM drams, which is not confirmed by the legal income of the person, has an illegal origin and cannot be confiscated based on the legal regulation of Article 20, Part 4 of the RA Law "On Confiscation of Property of Illegal Origin".
The RA Prosecutor General’s Office continues the process of filing claims for the confiscation of illegal assets to the RA Anti-Corruption Court in those cases when preliminary means have already been applied according to the court's decisions.
