Disciplinary Penalties “Reprimand” were imposed by Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan against V.L., a prosecutor of Gegharkunik region and A.M., a prosecutor of the same region.

 

In particular, V.L. and A.M. did not assert control over the course of the pre-trial proceedings, did not demonstrate sufficient consistency in timely performance of necessary investigative actions to verify the actual circumstances of essential importance.

 

The preliminary investigation in the mentioned criminal case has been conducted with incomplete and unnecessary delays; the requirements of Article 17, Part 3 of the Criminal Procedure Code adopted in 1998 have not been met, not all necessary measures have been undertaken.
