On 12 October 2022 a decision was made by the RA Prosecutor General for initiating a public criminal prosecution against the Judge A. H. for assisting the legalization of particularly large amounts of property obtained by criminal means by an official of judicial authority, as well as for including false data in the declaration (Article 38-190, Part 3, Point 1 and Article 314.3, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code adopted on 18 April 2003).

 

The decision was made on the ground of evidence obtained in the scope of the proceedings investigated at the Investigation Department of National Security Service.

 

The Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Armenia was informed about the decision in accordance with the Constitutional Law "Judicial Code of the Republic of Armenia", after which a charge was brought against the judge A. H.

 

On November 8, 2022, the RA Prosecutor General’s Office received the criminal proceedings with the indictment to affirm and submit the files of the proceedings to the court.

 

On November 10, 2022, the supervising prosecutor approved the indictment with his/hers decision and handed it over to the Anti-Corruption Court along with the proceedings.
