Тhe materials of the criminal proceedings regarding the preparation of false vaccination certificates and providing them to citizens for a bribe by the director of the Medical Centre were sent to the Anti-Corruption Court with an indictment

The indictment was approved and submitted to the Anti-Corruption Court together with the proceeding materials by the supervising prosecutor on December 20, 2022.

 

In particular the indictment was on preparing false vaccination certificates for COVID-19 and receiving bribes for apparently illegal acts by L.M., the director of the "Alashkert Medical Ambulatory" CNCO, supporting the illegal activities by O.K., a nurse of the same medical institution, brokering for the bribe by H.G, giving a bribe by Q.Q. and inducing to the commitment of official fraud by S.T.

 

The Prosecutor General’s Office urges employees of medical institutions operating in the Republic of Armenia and citizens to refrain from such criminal activities, given the fact that it causes a real danger for the life and health of people and could lead to irreversible consequences in some cases.

 

Notice:  Every person charged with a criminal offense shall be presumed innocent unless proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code and unless the verdict comes into legal force.
