The Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor’s General Office studied the current conclusion on results of audit related to “Loan and grant programs for increasing the level of seismic safety in schools” submitted by the Audit Chamber.

 

The Program was implemented by the Armenian Territorial Development Fund with the support of Asian Development Bank.

 

According to the audit conclusion violations were found in the process of conclusion and execution of all the contracts of 2017-2019 related to the provision of project development and copyright control services.

 

Thus the damage caused amounted to AMD 173 965 534.

 

Based on the report on crime submitted by the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor’s General Office, Anti-corruption Committee initiated a criminal proceedings on 27 January 2023 under Point 1 of Part 3 of Article 179, Part 2 of Article 308 and Part 1 of Article 314 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
