The Prosecutor General’s Office informed that the Anti-corruption court issued an indictment against 28 person in regard to the fraudulently obtained driver’s licenses on 21 October 2022. 

 

The abovementioned persons were found guilty of incriminated acts and were sentenced to penalties in different sizes.

 

The Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a motion to the Police on declaring the fraudulently obtained driver’s licenses invalid as prescribed by the RA Law “On Fundamentals of Administrative Action and Administrative Proceedings” of 19 December 2022. 

 

Based on the Anti-corruption court’s indictment and the motion of the Prosecutor’s Office the Police driver’s licenses of the accused were repealed: a corresponding note thereon was made in the electronic register of the Road Police.
