In connection with the alleged hooliganism case occurred during the elections of rector at the Administration Building of Brusov State University, the initiated criminal case was sent to the court with the bill of indictment on March 1, 2023.

 

We recall that on December 9, 2022 in connection with the reported hooliganism case, which occurred during the elections of rector in Brusov State University Administrative Building, criminal proceedings was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee according to Article 297, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism).

 

It turned out that G.T., taking the position of the General Advisor to the Rector of Brusov State University, showing exactly contemptuous and disrespectful behavior towards the society, legal and moral norms, shouted obscenities and curses at the university administrative building.

 

On December 27, 2022 the supervising prosecutor initiated criminal prosecution against G.T.: restriction to leave and suspension from office was chosen as a preventive measure against G.T.

 

Notification: A person accused of a crime shall be considered innocent until his or her guilt is  proven in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code by a court verdict which has legally entered into force.
