You must be the change, you want to see: Anna Vardapetyan met with the students of the Faculty of Law of the Yerevan State University

In the scope of events of 105th anniversary of the Prosecutor’s office, Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, met with the second and third year students of the Faculty of Law of the Yerevan State University on 13 March and answered their questions.
During the conversation with the students they discussed prosecutor’s image, challenges during the prosecutorial activity and public perceptions of the prosecutorial activity as well as other questions. When answering Meline Manutsyan’s (future lawyer) following question, “Why did you decide to assume the position of the Prosecutor General?”, Anna Vardapetyan talked about the main reason of accepting the offer. On Tatev Mkhitaryan’s question, “What will your advice be to the future prosecutors and Prosecutor General?” Anna Vardapetyan answered, “Be not afraid, never make concessions, as a result of which your principles may breached and be honest with you and your relatives”. Anna Vardapetyan thanked the students for the meeting and suggested that those students who want to work in the Prosecutor’s office can take an opportunity of the internship system introduced in the civil service system and join the staff of the Prosecutor’s office to gain sufficient experience. Afterwards, Anahit Manasyan, Deputy of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, talked about the reforms carried out in the Prosecutor’s Office aimed at having conscientious, honest and exemplary prosecutors, that have necessary skills as well as about the events of 105th anniversary of the Prosecutor’s office—mock trials, conferences, scientific debates and visits to schools.
