The indictment on M.S., Member of Parliament of the Republic of Armenia was approved by the supervising prosecutor and the indictment was submitted to the court together with the materials of the proceedings on April 25, 2023.

 

Let us remind that, on March 31, 2023 a public criminal prosecution was initiated against M.S.  Member of National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia of eight convocation, in the Division of Investigation of Grave Crimes of the Investigative Department of Yerevan of the Investigative Committee that M.S. committed excesses during the closed working discussion of the Standing Committee of the state and legal issues of the National Assembly  in deliberation hall N 314 of the second administrative building of the RA National Assembly on March 31, 2023 and caused a slight damage to the health of the V.V., Chairperson of the Committee (part 1 of article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (hooliganism) and point 7 of part 2 of article 171 (causing slight damage to the health through hooliganism)).

 

Notice:  A person charged with any crime shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code—by the judgment came into legal force.
