The bail of 3 million AMD imposed as a measure of restraint has become state income. The Court granted the motion of the prosecutor

Under the case examined in the National Security Service, it was turned out that Ar.M., customs inspector of the "Bavra" customs point, being aware that on January 25, 2020, E.K., the co-owner of the tourist organization offered shift inspector A.M. to release 4,540 kilograms of luggage from Georgia in exchange for a bribe of 3,600 USD equivalent to 1 million 723 thousand 932 AMD, accepted the offer.

 

On September 15, 2020, the customs inspector Ar.M., the shift inspector A.M. and the Head of the shift D.H. were charged under Article 1 (abuse of official powers) and Article 311(4)(2) (receiving bribes in particularly large amounts) of the RA Criminal Code.

 

In the course of the trail it was found that Ar.M., had committed new crimes under Article 313(1) (two counts) and the files thereof were submitted to the Anti-Corruption Court.

 

A motion was filed with the Anti-Corruption Court about turning the 3 million AMD bail chosen as a measure of restraint against the defendant into state income. The motion wad grant.
