Within the jubilee events dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the Prosecutor's Office, on May 14 and 27, 2023, internal chess and futsal championships "RA Prosecutor General’s Cup" were held among the employees of the Prosecutor's Office.

 

16 employees of the Prosecutor's Office participated in the championship held at the Chess Academy of Armenia. As a result of the points obtained in the 6th round, the first position in chess championship of the RA Prosecutor General’s cup was taken by Vagharshak Sargsyan, the Senior Prosecutor of the Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun administrative districts of Yerevan, the second position was taken by Mher Aprikyan, the Secretary General of the RA Prosecutor's Office and the third position was taken by Davit Grigoryan, the Acting Deputy Secretary of the RA Prosecutor's Office.

 

The award was handed over to the winners by Anna Vardapetyan, RA Prosecutor General and grandmaster Tigran Petrosyan, a two-time winner of the World Olympics as a part of the Armenian national team.

 

The internal futsal championship held on May 27, which was watched by RA Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan and YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, was played between two teams: RA Prosecutor General's Office and Regional Prosecutor's Office.

 

According to the results of the final game, with a score of 4:11, the team of the Prosecutor's Office of the regions won and was awarded the «RA Prosecutor General’s Cup”.
