On June 8, 2023, the Anti-Corruption Court accepted another lawsuit regarding confiscation of property of illegal origin.

 

The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a request to the court to confiscate in favor of the Republic of Armenia from A.V., the former Head of the Ptghni community and affiliated persons.

 

• 5 immovable properties in Ptghni, and in case of impossibility, their average market value, which is more than 41 million thousand AMD, 1 participation in a legal entity, 2 vehicles, average market value of 2 immovable properties: 32 million 835 thousand AMD.
• 16 million 936 thousand AMD, which during the period 1998-2021 is not substantiated by the legal income of a person, has an illegal origin, it is impossible to identify and confiscate, taking into account the legal regulation of Article 20, Part 4 of the RA Law "On Confiscation of Property of Illegal Origin".
• 40 million 78 thousand AMD as the balance of illegal income and funds.
