Today Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia received the delegation led by Andres Parmas, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Estonia, who had arrived to participate in the event of the 105^th anniversary of the establishment of the RA Prosecutor's Office and in the conference organized jointly with the Office of the Council of Europe.

 

Mrs. Anna Vardapetyan expressed her gratitude to her colleague from Estonia for accepting the invitation and for once again visiting Armenia, highlighting that Armenia attaches importance to deepening relations with Estonia, including in the legal field, for the sake of the population of two countries.  

 

Taking into consideration the rich professional experience of Andres Parmas as well as his experience as the chief editor of the journal of the Judiciary of Estonia, Anna Vardapetyan suggested that the latter may become a member of the editorial board of “Legality” scientific-practical journal of the RA Prosecutor’s Office.  Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia highlighted that Mrs. Parmas’s professional contribution  will help to develop the cooperation in this regard as well as to form innovative approaches regarding the current issues of law.
