On December 22, 2024, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan visited Khachik settlement of Areni community of Vayots Dzor Region and met with about 50 pupils of the community.

 

The meeting was attended by the Marz governor of Vayots Dzor, Kolya Mikaelyan, the Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia, the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Grigor Elizbaryan, the Prosecutor of Vayots Dzor Region, Aspurak Avetisyan, the Heads of Areni community and Khachik settlement, and others.

 

It should be recalled that Anna Vardapetyan made her first visit to Khachik settlement on July 6, 2024, and in response to pupils’ proposal to meet again, she promised to visit Areni community by the end of the year at the House of Culture, where the "Sun has risen" community-based program of the "Kayt" educational and cultural center is being implemented.

 

The House of Culture has already a library, where the RA Prosecutor General and pupils of different age groups talked about a number of topics of interest, after which they participated in a concert by the "Katil" group organized by the "Kayt" cultural center.
