The RA Prosecutor General's Office summarized the results of the reports on electoral violations recorded during the preparation and holding of local elections held on 05.11.2017 and media publications.

47 reports on flagrant cases of pre-election crimes (art. 149-154.8 of the RA Criminal Code) became a subject of research for the departments of the RA Prosecutor's Office during the preparation and holding of elections to local self-government bodies on 05.11.2017 in all ten regions of the Republic of Armenia.
From these cases,
32 -referred to attempts to vote more than once (art. 34-153 of the RA Criminal Code).
2-giving bribe (art. 154.2 of the RA Criminal Code)
2-hindrance to implementation of the authority of observers, mass media representatives (art. 149 of the RA Criminal Code)
1-breaching the confidentiality of ballot (art. 154 of the RA Criminal Code)
7-obstruction of the free will of the voter / instructions, accumulation, violence /(art. 154.2 of the RA Criminal Code)
1-voting instead of another person (art. 153 of the RA Criminal Code)
In order to ensure the effectiveness of the investigation in cases of electoral offenses, we call upon the relevant actors to provide information on the incidents and actively cooperate with those who conduct proceedings with the bodies that administer the proceedings, at their request or on their own initiative, to provide the information available to them in a particular case.
