A criminal case initiated on the fact of hindrance to the professional activities of the director of LLC "Lori TV", journalist Narine Avetisyan has been sent to the court of first instance of  Lori region with an indictment.

 

Immediately after the incident, Narine Avetisyan submitted a message to the police department, on the basis of which on September 29, 2017 a criminal case has been initiated under Part 1  Art. 164 of the RA Criminal Code.

 

Part on the fact of hindrance to the professional activities of Narine Avetisyan by persons, whose identity is not established, has been allocated in a separate proceeding, the preliminary investigation of which continues.

 

The indictment of the criminal case has been confirmed by the prosecutor supervising over legality of preliminary investigation of the case and has been sent to the court of first instance of general jurisdiction.

 

Note: Every person suspected in or charged with a criminal offense shall be presumed innocent unless proved guilty in the manner prescribed by Criminal Procedure Code of RA and unless the verdict comes into legal force.
