Under the control of the Prosecutor’s Office enough evidence was obtained on the criminal case investigated at the Regional investigative department of Shirak Region stating that H. Kh. the former head of Zarishat community of Shirak Region knowing about the intentions of installing antenna station, has concluded a contract with H. H. the resident of Amasia community, an employee of State Cadastre Committee. The plot of land with 2.5 ha are was leased for 12.720 AMD yearly rent for 25 years.

 

A day later on 26 of December 2007 the plot was subleased to a mobile operator for 24 year period for 40.000 AMD monthly rent.

 

In the result the H. H.’s family received 4.215.482 AMD income, i.e. community was deprived of the opportunity to earn that amount.

 

The former head of Zarishat community was charged with committing the mentioned criminal acts under Article 308, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code. In the course of preliminary investigation, he submitted a receipt for payment of compensation for the damage caused, according to which 1.000.000 AMD was recovered.

 

The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is completed, the prosecutor in charge of the case has confirmed the indictment and sent the case to the Court of First Instance of Shirak Region for examination.
