Artur Davtyan had a bilateral meeting with the Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan in Minsk

Today during his visit in Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus to take part in the 32nd session of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of the Member-states of the Commonwealth of Independent States Artur Davtyan, the RA Prosecutor General, met Berik Asylov, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

Congratulating his Kazakh colleague on his new appointment to the post of Prosecutor General, Artur Davtyan expressed hope that not only the current dynamics of mutual trust and cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of the two countries will continue but also it will be brought to a new level of development in the near future.

 

Artur Davtyan expressed satisfaction especially for the cooperation of the RA Prosecutor General's Offices in the field of mutual legal assistance, as numerous requests for legal assistance in criminal cases were factually made.

 

Mr. Asylov, in his turn, stated that in regard with the interstate cooperation, the RA Prosecutor General's Office is a reliable partner for them. He expressed confidence that in the near future the bilateral cooperation will become closer and the effectiveness of the cooperation will increase.

 

During the meeting, the new areas of relations which are more important for the prosecutor's offices of the two countries, the issues of joint fight against crime at the regional, global level, experience and information exchange in the spheres of the prosecutor's offices were discussed.
