A Disciplinary Penalty “Reprimand” was applied against an individual, occupying an autonomous position in the Prosecutor’s Office of Armavir region by the order of Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.

 

In particular, the Deputy Prosecutor of Armavir region, while supervising over the legality of the pre-trial proceedings in N criminal case (proceeding), did not take measures for the prevention of unnecessary delays in the period the preliminary investigation, performance of the necessary evidentiary and procedural actions in a timely manner, as a result of which the body conducting the proceedings inactivated for a long period of time.

 

In addition, as a supervising prosecutor, being responsible for the legality of initiating criminal prosecution, he did not make a decision on amending the criminal prosecution against the accused, despite having received the conclusion of the commission's forensic medical examination in the criminal proceedings for about two months.
