The prosecutor's office of Yerevan summed up the results of the works carried out in 2017, the results of the fight against crime in the capital, issues related to the quality of the inquiry and preliminary investigation of criminal cases and the quality of prosecutorial supervision over them. Prosecutors of the administrative districts of Yerevan, representatives of the police and representatives of the municipal bodies of the RA Investigative Committee attended the meeting that was conducted by the Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan.

 

For 2017 cases of crimes in the capital increased by 10.5%. The number of murders decreased by 48.1%.

 

 Artur Davtyan also stressed the need to strengthen control over the places of entertainment of the capital. During the meeting special attention was paid to the practice of detention.

 

During the meeting, the RA Prosecutor General also gave other instructions.
