Meetings at the RA Military Prosecutor's Office with the parents and relatives of the soldiers killed and missing during the war

On January 13, Vahe Harutyunyan, the RA Military Prosecutor met the parents and relatives of the soldiers killed and missing persons during the aggressive war unleashed by the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 27, 2020 and listened to their concerns. During the direct contact, the RA Military Prosecutor gave relevant clarifications, assuring that the circumstances leading to the war and its tragic consequences, information publicly presented and data about them are being checked according to numerous criminal cases initiated.
The RA Military Prosecutor offered the gathered citizens to organize a reception at the RA Military Prosecutor's Office on 14th of January in order to have a more substantive discussion, and clearly record the citizens’ questions, demands and suggestions. Tigran Ambaryan, the Deputy of the Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia received the parents and relatives of dozens servicemen who were missed during the war. The Head of the Division for Supervision over the Investigation of Especially Important Cases against Military Service of the Central Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia, Yerevan Garrison Military Prosecutor and other prosecutors.
The citizens have presented specific circumstances and situations of special directions of the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh Army, command staff, operations of the troops, supply of weapons and ammunition as well as the difficulties related to the searching for missing servicemen.
Tigran Ambaryan, the RA Deputy Military Prosecutor assured the participants of the meeting that most of the issues raised are already in the center of attention of the competent prosecutors and the additional data presented should be subject of a detailed investigation.
At the same time, the parents were informed that all the issues raised need large-scale investigative and other procedure actions, in the context of which the information received and related to them will definitely become available. At the same time, Tigran Ambaryan advised to cooperate with the bodies conducting the proceedings and provide them with the information and materials they have.
