According to the factual data obtained during the criminal proceedings examined at the Investigative Department of the National Security Service, on February 20, 2023, a motion was presented to the supervising prosecutor by the body initiating proceedings on initiating public criminal prosecution against G. Kh., who’d taken the position of the Commander of the Military Unit N of the RA MoD in 2006-2010 for using official position to legalize the illicit immovable property of significant amounts (money laundering): the motion was granted by the supervising prosecutor. 

 

The same day charge was presented to G.Kh.: the latter was arrested according to Article 111 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the RA, that is, for presenting the not- imprisoned defendant in freedom to the court.
