In the prosecutor's office of  Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia a criminal case has been initiated on the fact of illegal forest cuttings by the person, whose  identity has not been established in the territory of  "SHIKAHOGH NATIONAL BANNED" SNCO and the community of Tsav of  Syunik region and official negligence on the part of the employees of the SHIKAHOGH  SNCO.

According to the prepared materials, it was revealed that on the 47th kilometer of the highway Kapan-Meghri on adjacent areas of the forest fund in the territory belonging to "SHIKAHOGH NATIONAL BANNED" SNCO by the person whose identity has not been established 30 trees of different types and diameters were illegally cut down and from an administrative land plot belonging to the Tsav community in Syunik region 7 different types of trees, tree branches as a result of which the state suffered a particularly large damage in the amount of 5.393.466 AMD.

Taking into account the fact that the prepared materials flagrantly contain signs of  extremely large damage regarding illegal forest cuttings by a  person whose identity has not been established and official negligence of the employees of the "SHIKAHOGH NATIONAL BANNED" SNCO in the Prosecutor's Office of Syuniq region of the Republic of Armenia  a criminal case has been initiated .

The preliminary investigation was instructed to the Syuniq  Regional Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
