On the fact of giving bribes in a particularly large amount and abuse of official powers by the employees of the RA IC, within the criminal case being investigated in the proceedings of the Special Investigative Service of the RA large-scale investigative, procedural and operational-search measures are still in the process.

07.02.2018 officer of the Investigative Department of Lori Region of the RA IC has been detained.

Earlier it has been reported that, on the fact of taking a bribe from V. Abgaryan in a particularly large amount and the abuse of official authority within this criminal case a charge has been brought against another officer of the RA IC. And against the latter as a measure of restraint has been chosen detention.

The preliminary investigation is still in process.
