On May 24, a workshop on "Legal issues arising in the process of conditional early release and the main issues of prosecutorial supervision in this field" has taken place in Yerevan with the representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office of the RA and RF.

During the workshop, representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office of the RA and RF has discussed the relevance of legal issues arising in the process of conditional early release, also presented a number of problematic issues in this field and proposed more effective approaches to their solution.

It has been stressed that, based on experience in this field, the RA Prosecutor General's Office periodically takes measures to develop approaches in accordance with international standards.

Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia  Armen Harutyunyan has attached importance to the cooperation with the Prosecutor General's Office of the RF.
