The RA Prosecutor General's Office reviewed the results of the verification of the process of the cattle breeding development program received from the RA Control Chamber, where a number of facts of violation of state interests have been  registered.

 

As a result, 5 criminal cases have been initiated on the grounds of p. 3 art.  178 and p. 1 art. 315 of the RA Criminal Code according to the data sent to the prosecutor's offices of the Aragatsotn, Ararat, Shirak and Vayots Dzor regions.

 

It has been also entrusted to find out the full range of officials involved in the criminal activities responsible for the implementation of the program to ensure a legal assessment of their actions.

 

Note: Every person suspected in or charged with a criminal offense shall be presumed innocent unless proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code and unless the verdict comes into legal force.
