The Prosecutor's Office of the Ararat region initiated a criminal case on the provision and reception of a bribe during the June 11 elections in Goravan.

On June 11, 2018 a resident of Vedi gave a message, and then an explanatory note in the Ararat Department of the RA Police. Taking into account that in the materials of the case there are signs of a crime provided for in Parts 1 and 2 of Art. 154.2 of the RA Criminal Code, a criminal case has been initiated in the Prosecutor's Office of Ararat region.

The criminal case from the RA Prosecutor General's Office was sent to the Special Investigation Service to conduct the preliminary investigation.

 

Notice: Every person suspected in or charged with a criminal offense shall be presumed innocent unless proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code and unless the verdict comes into legal force.
