The Deputy Prosecutor General David Melkonyan has received the representatives of the World Bank.

Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic Armenia has  highly appreciated the effective programs implemented by the World Bank in the justice system.

During the meeting, the parties have discussed the process of implementing joint programs aimed at modernizing the public sector and reforming the judicial sphere in Armenia.

Representatives of the WB inquired about the process of introducing an informant system, in connection with which it was reported that an electronic informant site had already been launched, which is the main tool ensuring the effectiveness of this system, and in the  application of which the RA Prosecutor's Office plays a key  role. During the meeting other issues of mutual interest have also been discussed.
