Operative data was received at the RA Police on R. Kh., who is involved in the list of the same alliance on transferring 9.000.000 AMD to G. P., a resident of Janfida village to give election bribe and provide votes for the alliance among the residents of Janfida on the forthcoming early parliamentary elections of 20 June 2021.  

 

In the result of joint measures undertaken by the RA Police officers the above-mentioned two people were caught at G. P.’s house at the moment of transferring the amount of 9.000.000 AMD election bribe on June 10, 2021 at 16:30 o’clock. Moreover, as soon as they saw the policemen, they threw out the plastic bag which was found.

 

On the same day a criminal case was initiated at the Prosecutor’s Office of Armavir region under Article 34-154.2, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code and the preliminary investigation was assigned to the Regional Investigative Department of Armavir of the RA Investigative Committee.  

 

R. Kh. and G. P. were taken to the Police Department of Armavir and were arrested. They refused to testify.

 

Necessary measures are being undertaken to find out all the circumstances of the case.
