Certificates for the candidates of prosecutors

Today the ceremony of handing certificates for the candidates of prosecutors passing the training at the Academy of Justice of Armenia was organized at the General Prosecutor’s Office. The Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan, Gevorg Baghdasaryan, Deputy Prosecutor General, Chairman of the Management Board of the RA Academy of Justice, Sergey Arakelyan, Rector of the RA Academy of Justice.
Handing the certificates to 32 candidates for prosecutor and congratulating them, the Rector of the Academy noted that though their learning process coincided with the coronavirus pandemic and Artsakh war 2020, causing organizational and other problems, it was possible to complete the process properly. He assured that certificates are awarded to people who can fully fill the vacancies of the Prosecutor's Office.
Artur Davtyan congratulated the young people receiving certificates, emphasizing that that was the first group to be included in the list of candidates for prosecutors as a result of early competitions held in the result of legislative changes. He expressed hope that these new legislative solutions will enable the system to be continuously supplemented with qualified, knowledgeable specialists.
Wishing success to the graduates of the Academy of Justice, Artur Davtyan noted that the position of the prosecutor will require more responsibility and hard work, devotion, adding that that status also considers new public contacts and perceptions of events and rules, new approaches that they need to be psychologically and morally prepared for.
The RA Prosecutor General thanked the Rector of the RA Academy of Justice Sergey Arakelyan for organizing the training process of the candidates of prosecutors at a high level despite all existing difficulties.
