“There are no “loved ones” and “non-loved ones”, there is a professional work and integrity”, Prosecutor General visited Armavir region

Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, made a working visit to Armavir region on 4 February 2023.

 

Edvard Hovhannisyan, Governor of Armavir region, Gevorg Baghdasaryan and Artur Poghosyan deputies of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Vahan Sargsyan, prosecutor of the region, heads of National Security service and regional police departments, prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of the region participated in the consultations held by Anna Vardapetyan.

 

The Prosecutor General, attaching importance to the activities of regional Prosecutor’s offices, highlighted that their main goal is the organization of effective work and creation of safe environment for citizens.

 

Addressing the principles of work with the partners, the Prosecutor General highlighted. “My approach and requirements related to work are clear—devotion to your own profession, ability to say “no”, integrity and honesty. First of all honesty with you. These are simple principles underlying the work and professional growth in the Prosecutor’s Office. There are no “loved ones” and “non-loved ones”, there is a professional work and integrity

 

During the consultation, Vardapetyan, RA Prosecutor General, talked about the process of introduction of Patrol Service in Armavir, highlighting the role of service from the crime prevention perspective.

In the second part of the consultation, among other questions, the reasons of examining criminal proceedings for more than 8 months were discussed.

 

 Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General gave assignments related to all the issues discussed during the consultation and defined terms for their execution.
