V.G., previously convicted for various crimes, after being released from the prison some time before, regularly used sexual insults toward his/her neighbors and threatened children and women with a knife.

 

Considering the application submitted by a group of residents of the building N of Usanoghakan Street in Vanadzor as a direct report of a natural person about an apparent crime, the Prosecutor's Office of Lori Region sent it to the Investigative Department of the Region to initiate criminal proceedings. Criminal proceedings have been initiated by the investigator.

 

On October 25, 2022, a decision was made to arrest V.G. On October 26, V.G. was arrested and transferred to the place of detention of Taron Department of Vanadzor City.

 

A public criminal prosecution was initiated against V.G. by the prosecutor supervising the criminal proceedings.

 

Taking into account that the accused may flee and commit a new crime, on October 27, 2022, the body implementing the proceedings filed a motion to the Court of First Instance of Lori Region to apply detention for a period of 2 months as a preventive measure: the motion was granted, the accused was detained.
