As a result of large-scale operational-search measures taken by the RA NSS and the RA Prosecutor's Office, factual data were obtained that the Deputy Prosecutor of Administrative District of Shengavit K.N. being an official, for the mitigation of punishment in relation to the accused N.D., passing through the criminal case that is in the court of first instance of Armavir region, with the assistance and mediation of G.G. and N.A. received a bribe from the accused in especially large amounts - 2.500.000 million AMD.

 

By the Decree of the Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia dated June 8, 2022 on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Point 2 of Part 4 of Art. 311, Point 1 of Part 3 of Art. 312 and Part 1 of Art. 313 of the RA Criminal Code, which was sent to the RA Anti-Corruption Committee for a preliminary investigation.

 

On June 9th, 2022 a decision was made by the Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia on the involvement of K.N. as an accused under Point 2 of Part 4 of Art. 311 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, and the decision was sent to the investigator for charging.

 

On the basis of the investigator's decision K.N. and other persons who committed crimes, they were detained by the NSS.
