In 2017 the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs obtained medical equipment for the amount of 51 million 900 thousand AMD, electrical equipment for the amount of 9 million 245 thousand 300 AMD and two vehicles for the amount of 34 million AMD for the Yerevan Boarding School N 1 SNPO from two different companies.

 

Due to the investigation carried out by the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office, it was recorded that during 2017, officials of the Ministry caused particularly large losses to the state, using their official position, misappropriating and wasting the particularly large amount of money entrusted to them (17 million 509 thousand 976 AMD).

 

In 2022 the Department of Financial and Budgetary Supervision of the Ministry of Finance conducted inspections in the Yerevan Boarding School N 1 SNPO. It was turned out that 10 million AMD subject to be returned to the state budget in 2020, was allocated to the director and administrative staff as a reward and particularly large scale of property damage was caused to the state.

 

It was also recorded that in 2018 instead of 83 million 395 thousand 200 AMD, written off by the company’s menus, food of 85 million 814 thousand 300 AMD was written off (more in 2 million 419 thousand 100 AMD).

 

Taking into account the above mentioned, the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a report on the crime to the Anti-Corruption Committee in order to initiate criminal proceedings.
