On November 24, the Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan had a meeting at the Prosecutor’s Office of Ararat Region.

 

Anna Vardapetyan had a meeting at the Prosecutor’s Office of Ararat Region, situated at Artashat community which was attended by Sedrak Tevonyan, the Marzpet of Ararat Region, Rafael Manukyan, the newly-appointed Prosecutor of the Region, the regional heads of the law enforcement bodies, as well as the prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of the region and the Acting Prosecutor of Yeghegnadzor Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office.   

 

The Prosecutor General Vardapetyan in her speech congratulated Rafayel Manukyan for the appointment as the Prosecutor of the Region and expressed confidence that through cooperation and partnership work with other regional law enforcement agencies, without the need for a transitional phase, the supervision of pending cases will continue as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

 

Anna Vardapetyan emphasized that the appointment of Rafael Manukyan shows the logic of her personnel policy and in that context she specifically emphasized that she wants to share her responsibilities with prosecutors who have the highest standards of behavior and professional requirements and improve their knowledge through daily work and, what is the most important, those who are dedicated to their profession and homeland.

 

Marzpet Tevonyan welcomed the Prosecutor General’s visit to Ararat Region and agreed with her that it is possible to gain success only with mutual work.

 

The newly appointed Prosecutor of the Region represented his approaches regarding the organization of working relations and emphasized that the Prosecutor’s Office is not an “iron curtain” for the partners, the relations must not turn to postal records, because first of all the public interest will be affected. 

 

In the second part of the meeting, among other issues the results of the criminal proceedings discussed more than eight months: assignments were given and the deadlines for their implementation were set by the Prosecutor General.
