Deputy Prosecutor General participated in the opening ceremony of the project “Strengthening institutional capacities to fight and prevent corruption in Armenia”

Anahit Manasyan, Deputy Prosecutor General participated in the opening ceremony of the project ”Streghthening institutional capacities to fight and prevent corruption in Armenia”, which envisages assistance corresponding to the needs of the country.

 

Mushegh Babayan, the Deputy President of the RA Anticorruption Committee, Karen Bisharyan, judge of the Anticorruption palace of the RA Court of Cassation, Armenuhi Harutyunyan, Deputy Minister of the RA Ministry of Justice, Leyla Zhdanova, Deputy Head of the CoE office in Yerevan, Zuzana Sorosinova, the supervisor of EU delegation projects in Armenia etc., participated in the event.

 

Anahit Manasyan, Deputy Prosecutor General highly appreciated the support of the EU and CoE, in the sector of fight against corruption in Armenia highlighting that this sector is one of main priorities of the Prosecutor General’s Office.    

 

In her speech Manasyan, Deputy Prosecutor General emphasized the practicipation in the joint events aimed at improving the prosecutors’ professional skills in the abovementioned sector. According to Manasyan the participation of not only prosecutors of the Prosecutor General’s Office, but also the prosecutors of all administrative districts of the city of Yerevan and prosecutor’s of the Prosecutor’s offices of the regions are important.                 

 

Anahit Manasyan thanked the international partners once again for this important initiative and for the projects implemented in the sector of the fight against corruption.
