The Prosecutor filed a public criminal prosecution against A.G., former Deputy of the National Assembly

On February 24, 2023 the prosecutor filed a public criminal prosecution against A.G., former Deputy of the National Assembly for failing to declare property in especially large amounts and for legalizing property in especially large amounts received through crime.
By the criminal proceedings examined in the Anti-corruption committee it was found out that A.G., being a declarant concealed the data on the immovable property belonging to him as well as persons related to him and data on the shares in the limited liability company in his declarations of 2017, 2018 and the declaration of January 14, 2019 submitted to the Ethics Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials, which resulted in the failure to declare the property in especially large amounts.
The public criminal prosecution was filed against A.G., under article 310.1, part 2 of article 314.3 and point 1 of part 3 of article 190 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
