The results of activities of Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Offices of Lori, Goris, Yegheghnadzor, Shirak, Sevan and Yerevan during 2022 were summarized under Grigor Elizbaryan’s leadership, Military Prosecutor, Deputy of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.
Garrison Military Prosecutors represented the crime situation in the armed forces, dynamics as well as issues related to the prevention of crimes, preliminary examination of the registered cases as well as effectiveness of prosecutorial supervision over them.
During the consultations Grigor Elizbaryan, RA Military Prosecutor, highlighted the necessity of making the meetings and lectures with the military officers and compulsory and contractual military officers more frequent, which enables them to inform the military officers on their rights and obligations, to refrain from possible criminal conduct and to explain the consequences of criminal liability.
From crime prevention point Grigor Elizbaryan also instructed to pay special attention to the discovery of reasons and conditions that give rise to crime in the scope of the complete and objective examination of grave and particularly grave crimes and death cases.
Grigor Elizbaryan, RA Military Prosecutor, instructed garrison prosecutors to focus on the criminal proceedings pending under examination for more than 8 months as well as reasons of delay.
Based on the results of the consultations Grigor Elizbaryan gave several other instructions according to the peculiarities of the Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office and defined terms of their execution.
