According to the criminal proceedings examined in the General Investigative Department of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia it was established that G.Ts., Chairman of the Party and S.A, General Director of the company, as part of the criminal group, bribed the electors for voting in favor of the alliance of parties and the candidate nominated thereby during the parliamentary elections held on April 2, 2017.

 

On April 18, 2023 the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia received the criminal proceedings based on the charges brought against G. Ts. under article 154.2 part 2 of the Criminal Code adopted on 18.04.2003 (giving bribe to electors) and S.A. under article 154.2, part 2 of the Criminal Code adopted on 18.04.2003 (giving bribe to electors).

 

On April 21, 2023 the bill of indictment approved by the supervising prosecutor and the materials of the proceedings were submitted to the Anti-Corruption court.

 

   Notice:  A person charged with any crime shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code—by the judgment came into legal force.
