The Prosecutor's Office demands the confiscation of 4 immovable properties and 46 million AMD from the former President of the Urban Development Committee

On June 1, 2023, the Anti-Corruption court accepted another lawsuit regarding confiscation of property of illegal origin into proceedings.

 

The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a claim to the Court to confiscate the below-mentioned from V.V., the former President of the Urban Development Committee and his affiliated persons:

 

  • 4 immovable properties in Yerevan and Lori region, and in case of impossibility, the average market value thereof, which is more than 303 million 150 thousand AMD.

 

  • 46 million 70 thousand AMD, which is not substantiated by the legal income of the person, has an illegal origin, was transferred to a bona fide acquirer or cannot be identified and confiscated based on the legal regulation of Article 20(4) of the RA Law "On Confiscation of Property of Illegal Origin".
