Today the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan received the delegation headed by Emilijo Kalabrić, the Deputy General State Attorney of Croatia, who had arrived in Armenia to participate in the event on the 105th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia and the conference organized jointly with the Office of the Council of Europe.

 

Anna Vardapetyan expressed gratitude to the Croatian partner for accepting the invitation and emphasized that Armenia paid importance to the strengthening of cooperation with partner countries aimed at the development of the well-being of the peoples of the two countries, economic, cultural, historical and legal relations.

 

"In 1994, after the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Croatia, the relationship between our countries took a new course. Agreements were signed for further development of the cooperation between the two countries in various fields. The legal sector is not an exception,"- said the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia and added that the visit of the Deputy General State Attorney of Croatia to Armenia symbolized the high level of cooperation between the two countries, including the Prosecutor's Offices, as well as the joint approach towards combating crime, which was the basis for further development of collaboration.
