In the Prosecutor’s Office of Shengavit Administrative District the cadastral case of Komitas Park was examined in the framework of state interests protection.

 

In the course of examination it was found that the land parcel with an area of 92 square meters, located on 28/11 Arshakunyats street, included in the list of restrictions of Article 60 of the RA Land Code (areas not subject to alienation) was alienated to the citizen R.A. through a direct sale by the Yerevan Mayor’s decision dated 29 October 2012.

 

The above-mentioned land parcel is at the green area zone of public significance. On 23, November, 2012, the employees of the Yerevan Municipality violating the requirements of the Land Code sold the mentioned public significance land parcel with an area of 92 square meters was transferred to R.A. under the right of ownership.

 

On July 21, 2023, criminal proceedings were initiated in the Anti-Corruption Committee under Article 308(2) /abuse of official powers/ of the Criminal Code adopted on 18.04.2003.

 

October 29, 2012, the Prosecutor’s Office of Shengavit Administrative District submitted a statement of claim to the Administrative Court of the Republic of Armenia regarding the requirement to eliminate the consequences of the Yerevan Mayor’s decision.
