The Department of State Interests Protection of RA General  Prosecutor's Office examined the  documents  presented by the Food Safety Service by the  RA Ministry of Agriculture, which revealed that by the Commission inventory carried out in 2014,  created by the order of the Director of “Veterinary-Sanitary and Phytosanitary Services Center” SNCO in the regional center of Gyumri, belonging to the same organization, a shortage of material remains of 5074372 AMD was recorded.

Inventory Commission President submitted a report to the Director of SNCO, concerning the recorded shortage, but  the officials of SNCO did not take any measure to clarify the circumstances of the shortage, to restore the damage caused.

Taking into account that the registered violations obviously contain elements of a crime, the Department of State Interests Protection of the RA Prosecutor General's  Office instituted a criminal proceeding under the features of Article 179 Part 3 Point 1 and Article 308 Part 1 of the  RA Criminal Code, the preliminary investigation of which was assigned to the RA Investigative Committee.
