According to the call received from the operative managing center of Yerevan City Department of the RA police, on May 14, 2017 G. Serobyan called them and told that pre-election headquarters of Yerevan Council of Elders candidate T. Margaryan in 22 Avan-Acharyan str. has been attacked. Within the framework of the materials prepared in Nor-Nork Division of the RA Police, G. Serobyan told that at 13:37, without his permission,  Z. Postanjyan intruded into the pre-election headquarters of Yerevan Council of Elders candidate T. Margaryan, ripped off his clothes, damaged the property.

 

Z. Postanjyan told the police officers that electoral bribes were being distributed in the above-mentioned pre-election headquarters. In connection with the statement made by Z. Postanjyan and on the basis of the police officer’s report, materials are being  prepared by Nor-Nork Division of the RA Police concerning the case of distributing electoral bribes.

 

Materials concerning the above-mentioned two cases were requested by the RA Prosecutor General's Office with a view to assign the further investigation of the cases to the SIS.
