The Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the RA summarized the results of the work done in the direction of the damage caused to the state.

 

During January-September, 2023, AMD 22 billion 791 million 203 thousand 116 were recovered under current and completed criminal proceedings examined by the prosecutors of the Department, including AMD 10 billion 494 million 294 thousand 242 in the first half of 2023, and AMD 12 billion 296 million 908 thousand 874 in July-September, 2023.

 

In other words, the amount of damages caused to the state in July-September, 2023 exceeded the indicator of the first half of 2023 by about AMD 2 billion.

 

For comparison, it should be noted that AMD 2 billion 279 million 263 thousand 913 were recovered from the damage caused to the state in 2022 under completed criminal proceedings, AMD 5 billion 584 million 138 thousand 366 in 2021, and AMD 1 billion 989 million 200 thousand 408 in 2020.

 

In other words, the amount of restoration of damage caused to the state under the criminal proceedings completed only during January-September, 2023 (AMD 10 billion 568 million 14 thousand 402) exceeds the total amount of 2020, 2021 and 2022 (AMD 9 billion 852 million 602 thousand 687).
